It came from Canada..Canadian Warplane Heritage, or something like that. They also brought the Spitfire. That 109 I took pictures of, that one was recovered from Russia, the pilot showed me pictures of the wreck.

Just found your post The Spitfire mark 9 and ME109 are Ed Russells of Niagara Falls Canada and he also has a 1944 Hurrican and Harvard. The 109 was in the B.O.B and was shotdown over Holland in 1940, and then fixed and ended up in Russia. It is the only 109 flying with it original engine. Tony1943 Niagara Falls Canada
