great book about Midway. Most of it is from the IJN side. Very detailed. Basically blows Fuchida's book out of the water. Most western books on the matter are full of errors and bad info.
Discusses alot of "midway myths". I was interested to learn about the cyle speed of the IJN carrier elevators, the decks were not full of planes and bombs when the USN planes attacked, Nagumo wasn't hesitant, the screening subs from kwaj. left late and woulve found the USN TF, etc.
One of the best books i have read in a long time. A must have.
