Looking for information concerning the crash of B-24D # 42-40523. This airplane is mentinoned in an accident report for a B-25 that went missing on 6 May 1943. No corresponding accident report can be found for B-24D # 42-40523.
When did the B-24 Crash? Where?

This one is solved. I have the report on my microfilm. Just did not look back far enough.
The airplane went missing on 29 April 1943 with a crew of ten. Lt. Frederick L. Gossell was the pilot.
