Jaluit Devastators.

Does anyone know anything about the 2 TBD Devastators they found in Jaluit lagoon? I was wondering if they were going to be able to save them.

Once they pin down Amelia to Gardner Island, I think TIGHAR will make this next on the list

Okay, I am a rank novice on this subject, but I wish they'd put two solid TBD's ahead of a "will o' the wisp."

No insult intended. I am fascinated by the Devastator.

Dear all,

Here are details on the two TBD Devastators mentioned:

They are certainly historic wrecks, and are protected by the Marshall Islands from any salvage or removal of parts by divers.
