Retired engineer with an avid interest in World War 2 Pacific history for many years. My Father was a member of VT-11 station on Guadalcanal in 1943. He passed in 1996 and I recently compiled a bio of his military service for his grandchildren. This site provided many leads for additional information in this project. I have a VT-11 squadron photo and photo of squadron signatures and home towns. I will be glad to share my research with anyone interested.
