Evening, Both of these at one stage belonged to No 1 Squadron. A9-320 first served with 100 Sqn and was coded QH-Q . Ran off runway 13/08/43, with the aircraft being extensively damaged Gurney PNG. What's surpising also is that I think that I have a pic of #190 and "maybe" #180 if the camera was panned to the left after taking #190. #25 was White 25 so it would have stood out. Where else,....Port Pirie as the Hanger and the Fairey Battles behind give it away

On a little quick research, Are you Richard talking about the below pic? This #74 by colour and tone , (anyone can correct me anytime) seems to be a P-39D or F. Just a preliminary check. Initially the Models were defined by Group,.....P-400's with 35thFG and the P-39D/Fs with the 8thFG in April 42. ...
