Thanks. Having made contact with Beth Crumley at Historical Section Quantico, she assures me that things are a Grade A SNAFU with casualty cards. Update: crash/shootdown is believed to have been in 1943.

1st Marine Air Wing vets from Guadalcanal...any still living

Most of these men will be in the their late 80s and early 90s, but it's not out of the question that some of these men are still amongst us. Does anyone know any of these men?
