Located on Umnak Island. Also known as 'Fort Glenn' or 'Umnak'.

Construction
After Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7, 1941, this airfield was established as a tactical air base to support Ft. Mears Naval Base in Dutch Harbor Alaska.

Wartime History
During the Japanese attack on Dutch Harbor on June 3, 1942
, Umnak is notified, but gets the message too late due to a communication failure.
