Location
Takao Airfield is located near Kaohsiung (Takao) on the southwest coast of Taiwan (Formosa) in the Southern Taiwan Region. Today known as Kaohsiung Airport or Kaohsiung International Airport.

Wartime History
Takao Airfield was used by the Japanese for the duration of the Pacific War. During 1945, attacked by American fighters and bombers.

Today
Still in use today as Kaohsiung Airport or Kaohsiung International Airport. The single runway is oriented 27/09 10,335' x 197' surfaced with concrete. Airport codes: ICAO: RCKH and IATA: KHH.
