Inlet area off Gizo on Ghizo Island.
Wartime History
The area off Gizo was used as a seaplane mooring area, to a limited capacity during the earlier stages of the war. There were no facilites or limited facilities only, utilzing the pre-war government buildings and native huts.

Today
Disused as a seaplane base. Since the war, Gizo Harbor is used by small local boats, yachts and cargo ships anchoring at Gizo.
