Location
Located on the western shore of Matupi Island.

Wartime Usage
Seaplane mooring area, south of the main seaplane base at Sulpher Creek. Moored in this area were Mavis, Petes, and Rufes.

Today
Some of the mourings for H6K2 Mavis and H8K2 Emily seaplanes were visible offshore the island prior to the 1994 erruption.
