Aerial View of Paga Hill, Port Moresby and Fairfax Harbor
The hill to the left is Paga
Hill. To the right are moored PBY Catalina and a Short Suderland flyingboats
at the Fairfax Harbor Flying Boat Base. In the middle of the photo
is a pipe line extending from Hanabada Point, far out into the harbor
for aviation fuel for 5 Mile and 7 Mile. Several transports are in the
harbor, as well as smaller native sailing boats. Many piramid style
tents are visible along the beach area.
