Majuro Atoll Map
Dalap Island (Salome) is the site of Majuro Airfield and a causeway was built from Ruth Island with a tank farm on it. On Majuro Island, the long strait narrow part is Majuro Airport (New Airport) and a second WWII strip was built on the second long island to the left of Dalap, so they had extra aircraft storage along the runway as Majuro was a aircraft supply depot for US Navy aircraft carriers.
