Army Radio Recovered from Wreck at Tami Airfield
This radio was recovered from a Japanese Army figher, likely a Ki-43 Oscar (misidentified as a Zero) abandonded at Tami. It was taken as a souvineer by US Army person, and brought home to the USA. Today, it is part of the collection of the Yokohama WWII Japanese Military Radio Museum.

The inscription on the two silver colored plates reads:
(left side) "Jap Aircraft radio receiver removed from a Mitsubishi Army '0' model 3-2 (Hamp) fighter plane at Tami airfield Sko coast which was occupied by U.S. forces April 25, 1944."

(right side) "May 6th 1955 Hollandia Dutch New Guinea"
