Constructor Number 1139. Delivered to RAAF in December 1944
and struck off charge in July 1959.
Restoration
This aircraft was restored
in the 1970s by Ron Lee, Dick Hourigan and Pat Capron to the standards
of
CA-9 Wirraway A20-561 which served with No 4 Squadron during WWII.
The aircraft was originally loaned to the RAAF
Museum at Point
Cook for static display. Then was purchased by the RAAF Museum
in mid-2000,
where
it
is displayed today.
