Aircraft History
Built by Consolidated Aircraft Corporation at San Diego. Delivered to the United States Navy (USN) to squadron VP-54. No known nickname, nose art or squadron number.

Mission History
On June 5, 1943 took of from Henderson Field on Guadalcanal on a night search mission. This Catalina suffered one engine failure and made a force landing on the sea and subsequently sank. The entire crew survived and were later rescued.
