Aircraft History
Built by Curtiss in Buffalo, New York. Delivered to the U.S. Army, serial number unknown. Disassembled and shipped overseas to Australia and reassembled.

Wartime History
Abandoned or crashed at Vivigani Airfield on Goodenough Island.

Wreckage
Until 1999 this aircraft remained in situ.

Salvage
During 1999 salvaged by Robert Greinert / HARS and exported to Sydney and placed into storage at HARS. Also salvaged was P-40K Kittyhawk A19-183.

Storage
Later, donated, traded or sold to PIMA Air & Space Museum. Since the middle 2000s, this aircraft is in storage at the museum.
