Aircraft History
Built by Bell in Buffalo, New York. Delivered to the U.S. Army, serial number unknown, possibly P-39N 42-18812. Disassembled and shipped overseas and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 5th Air Force, 35th Fighter Group, 41st Fighter Squadron. Squadron number 75. Squadron letter F. Assigned to pilot Lt. Erick W. Kyro. This aircraft had a white painted spinner. The tail was painted white with a yellow tip.

The left cockpit door was painted white with the nickname "Flying Finn" because Kyro was of Finnish ancestry with the nose art of a skier, modeled after a Finnish Olympian Paavo Nurmi. Above the left exhaust stack below the rear canopy was "Sisu" that means guts in Finnish.

Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
