| Aircraft History
On the morning of December 7, 1941 this civilian aircraft owned
by Gambo Flying Service, was rented by Ron Vitousek and his son Martin.
The two were returning form a sight seeing trip to Molokai, as the Japanese
attack on Hawaii began. They were spotted and fired upon but managed
to escape without serious damage.
Restoration & Dispaly
Restored by Kapiolani Community College Students, this unique
aircraft is displayed on the dock at the USS
Missouri Memorial Museum at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
