Aircraft History
Built by 1st Army Air Arsenal, estimated assembly date March 1943. Unknown if this was a recon or assault version. This aircraft was possibly assigned to the 26th Sentai.

Wartime History
Operated at Alexishafen Airfield, destroyed by Allied bombing attacks, and the wreckage

Wreckage
Wreckage remainded at the edge of a bomb crater.

Likely, scrapped since then.

Charles Darby adds:
"[Ray Fairfield's photo shows] a Sonia hulk at [Alexishafen] bomber strip.  From memory it was 2053, but I won't be able to access my notes until I get back to NZ."
