Aircraft History Built by Nakajima during the end of June 1943. Uncoded serial number 221. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Army Type 100 Heavy Bomber Donryu / Ki-49-II Helen manufacture number 3221. Wartime History Assigned to 61st Hiko Sentai (61st Flying Regiment), 1st Chutai in New Guinea. Mission History On November 23, 1943 took off from either Dagua Airfield or But Airfield piloted by Sgt-Major Takata and Cpl Omori armed with ten 50 kg Type 94 bombs on a bombing mission against Finschafen and during the mission fired 20 rounds of 20mm, 160 rounds of 12.7mm, 115 rounds of 7.92mm and 8 rounds of 7.7mm. Afterwards, ultimate fate unknown.
