Aircraft History
Built by Kawasaki. True serial number unknown. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Type 99 Light Bomber Kyu Kyu Sohkei / Ki-48-II Lily manufacture number unknown.

Wartime History
Assigned to an unknown Hiko Sentai in China or Manchuria. At the end of the Pacific War, captured by Chinese Communist forces and became part of the Red Army of China Air Force in Manchuria that later became the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF).

Display
This Lily is displayed at the People's Liberation Army Air Force Museum (China Aviation Museum). Painted in the markings of a Red Army of China Air Force with a star insignia and fuselage number 308 with a red and white tail rudder. The engines had red propeller spinner and propeller blade tips. This is the only Lily displayed in a museum worldwide although portions are replica.
