Failed Salvage Attempt
A salvage attempt was made on this wreck in the early 1990's
by Bruce Fenstermaker. The wreck was successfully floated with air bags
closer to the pier. But, a steal beam fell onto it while still underwater,
crushing the wreck and re-sinking it near the pier.
