Aircraft History Built by Mitsubishi at Dotokua. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Ki-46-III Dinah manufacture number unknown. Wartime History Likely, assigned to the 6th Air Army Headquarters. A white vertical stripe was painted on the fuselage rear of the Hinomaru outlined in white. This Dinah was disabled or abandoned at Motoyama No. 1 Airfield on Iwo Jima. Likely, the Japanese removed the right engine and left propeller as spare parts. Wreckage On February 19, 1945 captured by U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) when they occupied Motoyama No. 1 Airfield. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared. Contribute
