At the factory painted overall gray. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Type 100 Command Reconnaissance Aircraft Shinshitei / Ki-46-II Dinah manufacture number 2237. Wartime History Assigned to the 70th Dokuritsu Dai Shijugo Chutai (70th Independent Command Squadron). The tail a reversed "S" in white representing a river, the motif of the squadron. Mission History On August 17, 1943 took off piloted by Lt. Shin-Ichi Matsu-Ura with observer Lt. Kyotoshi Shiraki on a reconnaissance mission over Fenton Airfield. Shot down near the airfield.
