Aircraft History
Built by Nakajima. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF). Assigned to the ? Sentai. No known markings or tail code.

Wartime History
Abandoned at Danip Airstrip (Alexishafen I).

Wreckage
Heavily scrapped, only the engine, mount and part of the wing structure remain.

Justin Taylan visited in November 2003:
"Although very little of this wreck remained, the locals had discovered an aerial bomb next to the wreck, and dug it up.  It appeared to be a 60kg bomb. They had called the local Police to remove it but they never showed up, so they have the bomb stored in a pig pen nearby. I ran out of digital camera space, and only took video footage of the bomb (will add later). I wonder if its still there. The aircraft had a 3-bladed propeller. There is a chance this wreck is a Ki-51 Sonia, but I feel its an Ki-43-II Oscar. See photos for all images, anyone have any other ideas?"
