The prop blades are straight, likely indicating it was staffed in the
water, not shot down. Located
several hundred yards off southwest Dublon
Island at Truk Lagoon.
Wreckage
Deteriorating rapidly and is in poor condition. The body of the plane
is upside down and the nose and tail
have separated from the plane. The instrument panel and guy wires are
strewn on the sea floor and debris block entrance into the fuselage.
