Wreckage
This flying boat is sunk sunk into Tuha Channel off Poporang Island at a depth of 15' to 35' atop coral reef and a sandy bottom. The cockpit and fuselage were intact up to the damaged waist and tail. The wing is present but fallen forward with the engines pointed downward with the out floats present.

Justin Taylan adds:
"This is an enormous airplane wreck.  I snorkeled the wreck, and the guide wires are still present on the wings, and wing floats. It is a spectacular site. In September 2003 the nose and cockpit were intact. In October 2005, the nose and cockpit had broken apart. It was unclear if it was natural causes or people."
