Aircraft History Built by Mitsubishi or Nakajima. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as Type 96 Land Based Attack Bomber / G3M Nell manufacture number unknown. Wartime History Assigned to an unknown Kōkūtai (Air Group). This Nell was abandoned on Pagan Airfield on Pagan Island. Wreckage This Nell remains in situ at Pagan Airfield. Since the 1980s, only the wings and forward fuselage remain, likely destroyed on the ground or force landed. In the last twenty years, the condition of this wreck has deteriorated. Contribute
