Aircraft History Built by Fairchild in Hagerstown, Maryland during 1935 as the prototype for the Fairchild 91 / Model A-942-A. This aircraft had retractable wing floats, and Zap flaps. Registered as NC14743. Sold to Spanish Republican Air Force. After delivery to Spain, captured by Spanish Nationalists and used until 1938. Ultimate fate unknown.
