Aircraft History
Built by Vought Aircraft Division of United Aircraft in Stratford, Connecticut. During 1944, delivered to the U.S. Navy (USN) as XF4U-4 Corsair bureau number 80759 as the third per-production prototype for the F4U-4 Corsair. Afterwards, used for armament tests. Afterwards, placed into storage at NAS Norfolk.

Display
In 1965 transported to Bradley Air Museum and placed on display. Today, remains on display at New England Air Museum in the military hanger in static condition with right wing in the folded position.
