Wartime History
After being stripped of parts and engines removed, two Wildcat fuselages were sunk near Roi-Namur,
between North Pass and Mellu
Island. Likely at the end of the war.
Wreckage
Lying on a 90' bottom lying just a few yards apart. The fuselages appear undamaged.
