Aircraft History Built by Aichi, completed during early June 1943. Uncoded serial number 263. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as Type 99 Dive Bomber Ku Ku Kamba (Kanbaku) / D3A2 Model 22 Val manufacture number 3263. Wreckage In early August 1943 captured by the U.S. Army at Munda Airfield. Afterwards examined by Allied intelligence that noted manufacture number 3263. Ultimate fate unknown.
