On September 11, 1942 delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as C-47-DL Skytrain serial number 41-18587. Ferried overseas via Hickam Field then across the Pacific to Australia. Wartime History On on October 26, 1942 assigned to the 5th Air Force (5th AF), 374th Troop Carrier Group (374th TCG), 33rd Troop Carrier Squadron (33rd TCS). In Australia assigned registration VH-CDP. Nicknamed "Full House". Mission History On November 9, 1942 took off from Espirito Santo piloted by Robert Carlson on a flight bound for Guadalcanal and crashed shortly after take off.
