Aircraft History
Built by the Department of Aircraft Production (DAP) at Fishermans Bend in Melbourne.

Wartime History
Delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Beaufort Mark VIII serial number A9-414. Assigned to 6 Squadron. Later assigned to 8 Squadron. Code UV-Q. On October 13, 1944 crashed on take off from Tadji Airfield. During November 1944, afterwards, converted to components.

Wreckage
During 1974, parts of this aircraft were recovered by Charles Darby / Monty Armstrong during a salvage funded by David Tallichet / Yesterday's Air Force (YAF) and transported to the United States.

Storage
This Beaufort was stored at Chino Airport owned by David Tallichet / Military Aircraft Restoration Corporation (MARC). Whereabouts today unknown.
