Mission History
Took off on a successful shipping strike at Taberfane. Afterwards, landed at Millingimbi Airfield to refuel on return trip. Departed Millingimbi Airfield
for Coomalie Creek Airfield, but did not arrive.

Wreckage
The aircraft was located approximately 10 miles from Junction Bay, and the remains of P/O Jones remains recovered.

Memorials
Jones is now buried at the Adelaide River War Cemetery. F/Sgt Gaunt is listed on the Northern Territory Memorial as having "No Known Grave".
