Built by Boeing at Seattle. Constructors Number 2552. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force as B-17E Flying Fortress serial number 41-9080. On April 6, 1942 flown to Geiger Airfield and assigned to the 301st Bombardment Group (301st BG).

Wartime History
On June 5, 1942 assigned to the 11th Air Force (11th AF), 28th Bombardment Group (28th BG), 36th Bombardment Squadron (36th BS). No known nose art or nickname. On July 11, 1942 flown to Kodiak Airfield. On March 14, 1943 flown to Gore. On April 6, 1942 flown to New Castle, On May 17, 1943 flown to Middletown Air Depot. On August 30, 1943 at Wilmington. On June 19, 1945 at Bush Field and scrapped.
