Ellen Surrett (daughter of Clarence Surrett)
"Thats my dad in the strecher looking at the camera [in still from film]. After the war, he stayed in the USAF as member of the 7th Bomb Wing flying B-36 bombers. He married my mom in 1948, so she didn't know him till after he got back. She was married to him for a year, before he ever told her he was a pow and even then. Well, he never liked to talk aboutt it. He died on March 5 , 1993 and is buried in Arlington, TX. My mom died July 2007."
