Crashed in shallow water off along the southern end of the Ngeregong Island.
Wreckage
Located during the war or immediate postwar period, the remains of Muller were recovered.
On November12, 2001 BentProp / Pat Scannon and the P-MAN-III team, with the help of Palauans on Ngeregong, located the remnants of this Avenger.
Memorials
Declared dead on the day of the mission. Scullin and Smith are memorialized on the tablets of the missing at Manila American Cemetery.
Muller's remains were likely buried in a private cemetery.
