Upside down, with wheels extended landing gear, wing portions and
engine remain.
John Douglas adds:
"Located north of the Ophi River in
a garden about 50 metres inland. The villagers say they
buried the pilot near the wreck. The plane had burned. I had another
zero
wreck also reported to me a few miles to the north, also on
a beach, but near the high water mark. this was buried
in sand, so
I couldn't photograph it."
